Comfortable living room leading to large downstairs bedroom (en suite), Entrance hallway to upstairs bedroom (En Suite) and balcony/viewing area overlooking living room. Large secluded patio yard to rear.

Location Located within 20 minutes drive from Cashel, Kilkenny, Clonmel and Thurles. (See Map) Bus and Rail services are available from these regional towns to Dublin, Cork and throughout Ireland. Visit Kilkenny "The Marble City" with its historic Castle. Take in Cashel " Cashel of the Kings" and the Rock of Cashel, once home to the Kings of Munster. See the "War House" in nearby Ballingarry site of the 1848 rebellion.Enjoy a visit to Mullinahone "Kickhams Town" birthplace of Charles J. Kickham Patriot and Scholar. Shop till you drop, do the tours or simply relax as the mood takes you. Take a relaxing walk or simply enjoy the quietness and fresh air.

Activities If you are the outdoor sort, Tennis, Fishing, Hunting, Rough shooting, Clay pigeon shooting, Mountain walking are all available locally. (Please note Fishing/shooting are seasonal).

Fishing The nearby Kings river provides some excellent fishing for wild brown trout while the rivers Nore and Suir are well known for their stocks of salmon and trout. The Barrow river also provided top class pike fishing for enthusiasts. Shore fishing for Pollack, Mackerel, Bass and is available off the south coast less than an hours drive away in nearby Waterford.

Shooting Rough Shooting
Shooting is seasonal for Pheasant (Nov to Jan ), Duck (Sept to Jan) Fees payable locally as day shooting guests. Woodcock also provide excellent sport as do wild pigeon over corn and stubble on decoys. Clay Pigeon Grounds available locally with Down the Line and Sporting Disciplines. Shooting Lessons can be availed of.

 

Forest/Mountain Trails Many wildlife forest and mountain trails available within short distance. Providing stunning scenery of South Tipperary and Waterford.

The Comeragh mountains are within reach and the beautiful Slievenamon to the South and the Slieveardagh hills to the North.
