The cottage is convenient to the beautifull tourist city of Kilkenny and Clonmel, Waterford, Thurles are all within 30 mins drive. The villages of Ballingarry, Mullinahone & Callan are only 5 mins away and all have well stocked shops & supermarkets. The local pubs will make you feel most welcome. The cottage owners live closeby and are most helpful at all times. Sheets & Bedlinen are included in the prices.
Pets are welcome but must be controlled & well behaved. No more than two pets at a time please.

See the "War House" in nearby Ballingarry site of the 1848 rebellion.Enjoy a visit to Mullinahone "Kickhams Town" birthplace of Charles J. Kickham Patriot and Scholar. Climb Carraigmaclear site of historic "1798" rising & enjoy panoramic views Slievenamon Valley. Fishing The nearby Kings river provides some excellent fishing for wild brown trout while the rivers Nore and Suir are well known for their stocks of salmon and trout. The Barrow river also provided top class pike fishing for enthusiasts.Shore fishing for Pollack, Mackerel, Bass and is available off the south coast less than an hours drive away in nearby Waterford. Boat Fishing available by prior arrangement. Owner who is a keen fisherman can advise.
